Matchmaking Event - Towards COVID-19 vaccines upscale production
Targeted 1:1 meetings promising new business contacts.
We find ourselves in an unprecedented public health emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the vaccination process of the European people has already started, the “Task Force for Industrial Scale-up of COVID-19 vaccines”, set up in DG GROW under the direct responsibility of Commissioner Thierry Breton, is looking to help step up the industrial production of vaccines in Europe.
The European Commission is therefore glad to invite you to participate in a B2B matchmaking event on 29th and 31st March 2021.
The event will be hosted by the European Commission with the support of the European Clusters Alliance (ECA), the Council of European BioRegions (CEBR), and the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP).
The objectives of the event are to:
Support the acceleration and upscale of vaccine production, by enhancing the participation of EU companies and ecosystems in the value chains.
Speed up connections between vaccine developers and services companies such as contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), fill & finish, equipment producers, etc.
Ensure an improved retro-planning strategy for the current and future vaccine production.
