Join this hands-on workshop to discover practical co-creation tools that help build public trust and stakeholder acceptance in biotechnology. Strong science alone is not enough, trusted innovation requires early and meaningful engagement with end-users and society.
This session presents the key outcomes of the B-TRUST – Empowering Trust, Unleashing Biotech project and opens a collaborative space to explore and refine the co-creation methodology behind them. Led by Food & Bio Cluster Denmark and European partners, the programme translates two years of research into tools you can use.
Focus: Academic stakeholders
As this workshop is directed at academia, it focuses in particular on the role of researchers in building public trust and involving end-users end-users throughout the innovation cycle.
What you will do
Explore insights from co-creation with consumers, farmers, and other value-chain stakeholders
Learn the trust-building principles and measures developed in B-TRUST
Walk through the co-creation methodology, including its strengths and limits
Take part in guided discussions and exercises to adapt and improve the approach
Build capacity to apply trust-building frameworks in your own organisation
